Chiefs 27, Bills 24 | Final score, game highlights + stats to know

In the NFL Playoffs Divisional Round, the Buffalo Bills' season came to an end on Sunday night when they were defeated 27-24 by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Josh Allen ended up with 258 total yards, one passing score, and two running touchdowns in a matchup between two of the greatest quarterbacks in the league.

Dalton Kincaid, a rookie tight end, finished with five catches for 45 yards, while James Cook totaled 82 yards.

Throughout the entire game, the Buffalo defense was unable to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense, who amassed 363 total yards and scored on five of their seven possessions (not including the drive that ended in kneeling at the half).

For the majority of the contest, Buffalo relied on their rushing offense, which was more effective in the first half than the second. In the first half, the Bills amassed 124 running yards and two scores, both from Allen. Only 58 were left in the second.

Buffalo lost the whole game due to errors. After Travis Kelce, who was entirely unguarded, snagged an easy ball from Mahomes, Kansas City scored their first touchdown. Twice in the second half, the quarterback for the Chiefs connected for plays of thirty yards or more with Mecole Hardman.

In the fourth quarter, the Bills tried a fake punt, but the Kansas City punt return squad thwarted them.

Buffalo had an opportunity to take the lead again with two minutes left when they entered Kansas City territory. But the game and the Bills season ended when Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal and Allen failed to convert on a third-and-long.
