Halftime update: Los Angeles Rams 17, New Orleans Saints 7 | 2023 NFL Week 16

 At SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the Los Angeles Rams led the New Orleans Saints 17–7 at the half on Thursday.

On their opening drive, the Rams covered 95 yards and scored on a 2-yard throw from quarterback Matthew Stafford to wide receiver Puka Nacua. With 21 seconds remaining in the second quarter, the Rams added a 4-yard touchdown throw to Demarcus Robinson and a 21-yard field goal.

With 2:28 remaining in the second quarter, Saints quarterback Derek Carr found receiver Rashid Shaheed for a 45-yard touchdown pass, making the score 10–7. Carr completed 11 out of 20 passes for 163 yards and a score. His main target, receiver Chris Olave, with six receptions for 74 yards. Alvin Kamara, a running back, gained 10 yards on six carries. Shaheed's touchdown reception was his seventh reception of more than forty yards this season.

To begin the second half, the Rams (7-7) will receive the ball.
